Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have called it a day on their 14-year-long marital association. Bubbling rumours of a shock announcement started doing the rounds last Saturday, with confirmation arriving via the couple's representatives.
The revelation of their split will undoubtedly be a bolt from the blue for fans who considered them to epitomise an honest and lasting TV couple. They faced rocky times in 2020 when they were shown the exit door from This Morning, reports the Mirror. In an interview with Woman's Weekly, Ruth said: "I don't know how much Eamonn's mobility will improve. We live in hope."
Since July 2022, Ruth hasn't mentioned her husband on social media platforms. On the other hand, Eamonn stirred up a minor stir online by posting an image of him bundled close to glamour model, Linda Lusardi.
