The account, with two million followers, uses Tubridy's pictures and claims to be his official profile. Tubridy, who only uses Instagram, urged fans to be aware of such scams and avoid interacting with them. This is not the first time Tubridy has had to warn about fake accounts, highlighting the ongoing issue of online impersonation.

Any die-hard Ryan Tubridy fan would be able to notice that the former Late Late Show headman doesn’t use any other social media besides Meta owned Instagram, meaning any account that pops up on X or Facebook is fraudulent. This isn’t the first time that the host has had to issue appeals for his fans to be aware of any fake social media accounts. Over multiple occasions in 2023, Tubridy shared that he had been plagued with scammers pretending to be him by using fake profiles on Instagram.
