Samantha is among six acts to fight it out for the honour of representing Ireland in Basel
Samantha Mumba has been backed to be picked as the Irish representative for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest .
Speaking on Nicky Byrne’s podcast two weeks ago about the Eurovision, the pop star said: "I want to do it. I want to do an amazing song and I want to do Irish dancing as well. That’s what I want. Hyper-pop artist Bobbi Arlo, who is said to appear on Niall Horan’s personal Spotify playlist, is just 5/2 to be booking her ticket to Switzerland and the Dublin star has already had a tune nominated for RTÉ’s Song of the Year.
