Two Gardaí fled for their lives from a man wielding a samurai sword after they were called to a residence
A man is due in court on Friday having been arrested following a shocking incident last week in which two Gardaí were forced to flee for their lives.
In footage shared by the Irish Mirror, Gardaí could be seen taking cover in a patrol vehicle as they waited for assistance from the Divisional Armed Support Unit while the man struck the vehicle with the weapon. Now, over one week later, Gardaí have arrested and charged a man, who is due before the courts on Friday morning.
