Incredibly, it has already been one year since the brave and inspiring Galway girl Saoirse Ruane passed away.
Saoirse captured the hearts of the nation when she first appeared on The Late Late Toy Show in 2020. And fans continued to follow Saoirse and her courageous parents Roseanna and Ollie, as they continued to spread joy and hope through their daughter. Taking to social media to commemorate the heartbreaking anniversary, Saoirse’s mother Roseanna shared a touching tribute:
On the even of Saoirse’s anniversary, her Roseanna shared a video of a beautifully decorated grave and wrote a heartbreaking post:We sit here tonight on what was the anniversary of the DAY you passed. It was a Tuesday. But tomorrow we will wake to the date being on a Wednesday…. 5th March! That’s the day you left. The day our hearts broke into tiny tiny pieces.
