Ex-delivery driver Forrest, 41, was jailed for 27 months last year for leaving Elizabeth mentally and physically scarred.
A domestic abuser who sued his victim for the sofa he throttled her on has been ordered to pay more than £2000 in legal costs after his claim was rejected.
But in a sick twist he continued to abuse her from behind bars when he launched a civil action to seize a sofa and a TV he claims belonged to him. She added: “I just hope this is the end of it all now. I don’t want to hear from him again. This whole suing me business was just him trying to manipulate and control me even though we’re not together.
Forrest previously pled guilty to assaulting his ex to her injury and danger of life on three occasions at her Blantyre home between July 2017 and August 2020.In a victim impact statement, Elizabeth told how Forrest once forced bank notes into her mouth as punishment for asking him for money.
