Police are looking for the driver of a Mitsubishi Shogun who was being chased in Carlisle yesterday
Cumbria Police have launched an appeal to find a driver after officers conducted a pursuit in Carlisle.
A Mitsubishi Shogun was driving on a number of roads in the west of the city earlier yesterday evening . The driver was on roads including Winscale Way, Greenside Road, Rosehill Drive, Levens Drive, Langrigg Road, Park Road, the Morton Park area and Stonegarth. The car was then abandoned on Fellside Grove between 5pm and 5.16pm. Just before 5pm, the car failed to stop for officers who were pursuing the vehicle.Officers have described the driver as male, wearing a blue puffer jacket, a black t-shirt, grey shorts and a cap, although he may have taken off the cap and jacket.
Anyone who has any information or relevant dashcam footage or doorbell camera footage is asked to contact police on 101, referring to log 208 of August 18.
