Irish golfer Shane Lowry ends his long-standing partnership with Horizon Sports to establish his own management company. The news comes after a year of strong performance for Lowry, culminating in a career-best finish in the FedEx Cup and a victory in the Zurich Classic alongside Rory McIlroy.
Shane Lowry has announced the launch of his own management company , marking the end of a 15-year partnership with Horizon Sports . Lowry, who joined Horizon Sports following his Irish Open victory as an amateur in 2009, expressed excitement about this new chapter and welcomed Brian Moran as a key member of his management team. Lowry's journey with Horizon Sports has been marked by remarkable success, culminating in his Claret Jug victory at The Open in 2019.
He has amassed seven professional wins, including the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and multiple Rolex Series events on the DP World Tour. Lowry has also been a prominent figure in international golf, participating in two Ryder Cups and securing a victory in Rome in 2023.Last year, Lowry achieved a career-best ninth place in the FedEx Cup, solidifying his status as a top golfer. He also earned a $3.5 million bonus from the PGA Tour's Player Impact Program (PIP), ranking seventh on the list. His future endeavors include representing the Bay Golf Club in the inaugural TGL simulator league and competing in major tournaments like The Open at Royal Portrush and the Ryder Cup defense at Bethpage.
