Graham was announced as Leitrim boss at the beginning of August but will now step away from the role.
Leitrim GAA have been left shocked after Mickey Graham informed the county board he would not take the role for the 2025 season.
Graham signed a three-year deal with the county at the beginning of August but announced his departure just two months later. First coming into the set up under Andy Moran in 2023, Graham was announced as manager following Moran's departure. In a statement released this evening by Leitrim GAA, it reads: "Leitrim GAA Management Committee at its meeting this evening was informed of the decision by Mickey Graham not to continue in the role of Leitrim Senior Football Manager for 2025.
"Mickey was fully committed and looking forward to his role ahead but circumstances beyond his control have led to him making this decision and regrettably, for all concerned, he will not be continuing in his appointed position. Leitrim GAA will now recommence the process of appointing a new manager."Graham previously took charge of Cavan, guiding the side to a memorable Ulster title in 2020.
