The Taoiseach is due to meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer today to formally launch a programme of ‘strategic engagement’ between Ireland and the UK.The main purpose of the meeting is to formally launch a new programme of engagement between the countries and “reset relations”.They will also discuss the Good Friday Agreement and how to ensure the “moment of reset” suits all nations involved.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, Mr Harris said it is “an important moment of reset in British-Irish relations”.
