The Cork native has just returned back to the RTE Today show after maternity leave following the birth of her second child, Theo
TV presenter Sinead Kennedy has admitted she was relieved to hear RTE 's Cork studios are set to undergo a major expansion - as she returns back to work after maternity leave.
"There is something about having that little piece of ownership of having it in Cork. Having worked in both and I adored being in Donnybrook as well, there is something so nice to be able to do the job at home and do it in Cork. "I was over and back. I was home quite a bit as well. I was here, there and everywhere. It was not relaxing in that regard. There was a lot of flying but my life has been like that for the last few years."We love it though. When I’m over there it is a total switch off and when I’m here I’m meeting family and friends and I’m back to normal life. Whereas when you’re over there it’s kind of just so strange because it is just us.
