The Department of Social Protection has issued a statement to social welfare recipients notifying customers of changes to their payment schedule ahead of the June Bank Holiday weekend

Social welfare recipients have been warned of changes to their payment schedule ahead of the June Bank Holiday weekend.

As a result, any state payments including social welfare, due to be paid on Monday will be rescheduled. The Taoiseach said he believes that "cost of living must once again be a focus for Budget 2025, building on the cost-of-living measures in the previous two years."
