Alaska State Troopers are looking for Ronald Beyering, 62, charged with shooting at and setting fire to a Funny River home Saturday in a dispute its occupants said might have started over firewood.
Ronald Beyering, 62, was sought by Alaska State Troopers on the Kenai Peninsula after allegedly setting a Funny River home on fire and shooting at its residents on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022.
Troopers said both residents of the home were able to escape unharmed, though according to a Facebook post, they are looking for pets missing since the incident. Troopers arrived at the residence about 20 minutes later and witnessed gunshots, but as they approached through a wooded area, the shooting stopped and a car down the street drove away, according to the charges.
