It’s not every day the people you know as mum and dad are allowed to officially complete the adoption process, but the momentous occasion was made even more special for one five-year-old this week.
Disney princess fan Danielle Koning from Grand Rapids, Michigan was one of two children whose adoption to foster parents Jim and Sarah Koning, who she has lived with since 2014, was due to be finalised in court on June 8.Word spread around the office and soon, other princesses were volunteering. On the day, Danielle, herself dressed as a fairy princess, walked into the court to find no less than eight Disney princesses there to greet her.
