Ireland has dealt with snow, ice, sleet and incredibly low temperatures this week, however, the bad weather isn’t over for the country as Storm Bert is tracked to hit

They explained that the very wet weather and strong winds will arrive on Friday and last throughout the weekend and into next week.

“Storm Bert will continue to dominate our weather through the weekend and into early next week and further warnings will be issued for this event.” It reads: “Heavy rain transitioning to sleet and snow. Impacts: Very difficult travelling conditions, poor visibility, travel disruption, disruption and delays to public transport likely , difficult conditions underfoot, animal welfare issues and flooding possible.”
