Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather has flagged an 'unusual' aspect to the storm which may see it make an impact in different ways than previous storms. The UK Met Office named Storm Darragh and Met Éireann issued yellow and orange wind warnings between Thursday and Saturday.
