It was a night to remember in New Orleans
The Philadelphia Eagles cruised to victory against the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL season grand finale, which took place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Among those in the audience were Trump - the first sitting President to attend the event - and Swift, who was there to cheer on boyfriend and Chiefs star Travis Kelce. The two however received very mixed reactions from the crowds. But the Fortnight hitmaker's attendance at Sunday's big event didn't seem to brush well with many.
It's Taylor's second Super Bowl rooting for last year's champions the Chiefs. For last year's big event, the 35-year-old flew across the world fresh off an Eras Tour date in Tokyo to see partner Kelce bag the Chiefs' monumental victory. This year however was a far more subdued event for the couple, as Kelce looked close to tears trailing back into the locker rooms after the game. Those wondering if they'd see a big proposal were also sorely disappointed.
"She is a Trump fan and a MAGA fan, I happen to love her, she's a great person." In clips played ahed of the game, he also toldto the outlet: "I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as he's won – I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia is fantastic, it's going to be just a great game."
And the 37-year-old didn't disappoint. Cheers from the crowd could be heard as Kendrick teased the track and swiped at Drake's lawsuit against his record label – before going on to perform the song.
