The Taoiseach has been attending events across New York and Miami over the past five days

The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and several Government Ministers round up their visit to the United Nations today.Today ends one of the longest trips a Taoiseach has taken to the UN for high-level week, with Mr Varadkar attending events across New York and Miami over the past five days.These included the opening of a new Irish Consulate General in Miami, media appearances and speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations think-tank.

Later Mr Varadkar will give Ireland's national address, setting out the priorities for the country in the year to come and where international countries need to work together to tackle some of the bigger challenges the world faces.
