Taylor Swift was booed while supporting her boyfriend at Super Bowl LIX
The singer was booed while supporting her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend, Travis Kelce, amidst a crowd of mostly Philadelphia Eagles supporters in New Orleans.A number of Swifties took to social media to back their idol, with one writing: "I don't care who wins or loses today, my biggest hope is that everyone has fun and Taylor Swift ruins the day of men who hate her."
Another person said: "That stadium cheered for Trump but booed Taylor Swift? Just abolish the whole sport." Someone else commented: "Booing Taylor Swift as if she's playing on the field against 'your' team, even though she's just sitting there looking pretty, is loser behaviour." The Philadelphia Eagles ended the Kansas City Chiefs’ bid to win an unprecedented three straight Super Bowls as they ran out 40-22 winners.
