John Dooley passed away on Wednesday, days after he displayed his work at the Bord Bia Bloom festival in the Phoenix Park, which thousands of people saw over the weekend.
Tears and tributes flowed as RTE Super Garden winner John Dooley was laid to rest today after his sudden death this week.

"John was so welcoming and personable and really happy to chat to me and everyone at @bordbiabloom about his 'Back to the Future' creation. Rest in Peace John." But it was his lifelong wish to exhibit his own at Bloom. John had always dreamed of entering Super Garden but never had the confidence to do it. It was his wife Liz who put his name forward for the competition without telling him.
