Police in Belfast are investigating a serious assault where a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the eye by three men in dark tracksuits. The attack occurred on Friday night in the Eia Street area of north Belfast. The victim suffered nerve damage and required multiple stitches.

During the course of the alleged assault, the 19-year-old victim reports that he was stabbed in the eye and suffered nerve damage. He also required multiple stitches. "It was reported that one of the men was armed with an unknown weapon and stabbed the 19 year old male in the eye. The male was taken to hospital for his injuries, which required a number of stitches and the male suffered nerve damage behind the eye following the incident.
