Everyone is saying that the summer season has been a major disappointment this year, with Met Eireann sharing that the rainy and unsettled weather isn’t going anywhere
It’s been a cold start to the summer season, with many days of rain and unsettled conditions.
However, temperatures will slowly climb during the week, with Met Eireann saying it will even hitting 20 degrees at one point.Sunday, 16 June Mainly dry with sunny spells this morning but cloud and outbreaks of rain will feed into the northwest later, slowly spreading southwards over the northern half of the country through the afternoon. It will be drier and brighter further south with sunny spells and a few showers developing in the afternoon and evening.
Partly cloudy with a few light showers moving into northern areas in a light to moderate north to northwest wind on Monday night. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.
