After the holiday season, temporary workers will be invited to apply for any permanent roles that become available
The jobs will mainly involve working in Tesco ’s Superstores and Extra stores for either early morning, day or evening shifts, so that prospective applicants can find an opportunity that fits around them.
Once the seasonal period comes to an end, there may be opportunities for Christmas workers to apply for any permanent roles available in existing stores or in new Tesco locations planned for the coming year. Speaking about the festive jobs, Maurice Kelly, People Director at Tesco Ireland said: “We are thrilled to be generating almost 1,200 additional festive roles across the country this Christmas. At Tesco, we recognise the importance of offering meaningful and flexible employment opportunities that cater to people’s diverse needs.
The positions available in the run up to Christmas span the length and breadth of Ireland, and Tesco is encouraging interested candidates to apply online as soon as possible.
