BREAKING: Acclaimed author Cormac McCarthy has died at the age of 89.

Cormac McCarthy is and always will be my favorite author,’ a social media user agreed. ‘No one could tell a story like he did and every time I reread his work I find something new to love.Tributes came in for Cormac, pictured here with Richard Plepler, on social media McCarthy developed his passion for writing while at the University of Tennessee, and went on to publish two stories in the literary magazine.
