Maintaining the pristine whiteness of laundry can be a challenge, especially for most of us who simply do not have the time to hand wash multiple items.
Laundry is a popular topic, and one viral method of resurrecting discoloured white clothing has been tried and tested by a number of big cleaning and home influencers. TikTokker Aesthetically at Home had a range of white clothing to try the hack on, from bras and tops that had faded to a greyish-white or yellow-ish white, as well as white items which had been stained over long term use, such as pillowcases and tea-towels.
She then added hot water and filled the tub until all of the items could be submerged - however it is not recommended to use bleach with hot water, tepid water will do the same job without the risk. It is also highly discouraged to mix household chemicals, in case a toxic gas is accidentally created. Gases created by the mixing of household chemicals can cause eye, skin, or respiratory irritation.
