Food prices, electricity and gas bills, and rent have all increased dramatically in recent years. According to recent studies, food prices are up 12% compared to this time last year.
TikTok star, Tanya Home Inspo, is the self proclaimed queen of hacks and has shared numerous tips and tricks to keep your food fresh for as long as possible. Herbs- Keep your herbs in a bouquet and submerge them in water in order to keep them fresh for longer. Rice - Tanya’s trick for measuring rice is similar to measuring spaghetti. Tanya suggests using half a cup of rice per one person serving.
Potatoes - Never store potatoes in the fridge, as Tanya says that the coolness of the fridge will make them spoil quicker. As an alternative, store them in a cool and dry place.
