TikTok is doubling down on its data centre investment locally with plans for a second facility in Ireland. It is also in talks for an additional data centre to be located in mainland Europe.
The Chinese-owned social media firm is already investing €600 million in a data centre in Dublin. It said it was unable to provide financial details on the additional investments as they are still in the planning stages.
