A motorcyclist from County Wexford , Ireland, tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle collision earlier this week. Emergency services responded to the scene of the crash, which occurred between a car and a motorcycle at approximately 9:20 am on Wednesday morning. The motorcyclist, identified locally as 48-year-old Jonathon John Kavanagh from Curracloe, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The car driver, a woman in her 60s, was transported to the hospital as a precaution but sustained no injuries. Mr. Kavanagh is survived by his partner Liz and son Ben. A death notice on RIP.ie states: 'Very sadly missed by his son, partner, mother, father, brothers, sister also Angela, nieces and nephews Josh, Katelyn, Nicole, Hunter, Erin, Sam, Ryan, Oscar, Ruby and Art, brother-in-law Des, sisters-in-law Catherine and Sandra, aunties, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.'Tributes have poured in for Mr. Kavanagh, who has been remembered as 'a wonderful man' loved and respected by all who knew him. Expressions of sympathy and condolences flooded social media platforms, with people sharing their memories and offering support to his family. Messages read: 'So sad to hear of this tragic loss, such a lovely man. Our deepest sympathies to John and all the Kavanagh family. May his gentle soul rest in peace,' another said: 'Sincere sympathy to the family and loved ones of Jonathan on your devastating loss. He was an amazing young man who was loved and respected by all who had the great privilege of knowing him. May your treasured memories help you through this very difficult time. Rest in eternal peace Jonathan,' and yet another: 'So sad to hear of this tragic loss, such a lovely man. Our deepest sympathies to John and all the Kavanagh family. May his gentle soul rest in peace.'Mr. Kavanagh will be reposing at Mackens Funeral Home in Wexford, Y35 HP29 from 4 pm until 7 pm on Sunday. His funeral mass is scheduled for Monday afternoon at St. Margaret's Church in Curracloe, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Gardaí (Irish police) are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the Wednesday's collision to come forward. They are also requesting any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were traveling in the area between 8:30 am and 9:30 am on Wednesday, January 15, to make this footage available to Gardaí
