Trooper Shane Kearney to be reunited with family as he is evacuated from Lebanon

The Defence Forces gave an update on his condition

The Cork soldier was seriously injured during an attack on an Irish convoy that was returning home for Christmas.

Óglaigh na hÉireann gave an update on Trooper Kearney as they explained the next steps in bringing him home. He will be reunited with his parents, Paudie and Phil, and his sister, Amy, when he arrives at Beaumont Hospital.
