Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of an asylum seeker in Dublin. One man was arrested in Belfast as he attempted to flee the country, while the other was apprehended in Dublin. The victim, Quaham Babatunde, was stabbed during a brawl following an Afroswing concert. Another man was also injured in the incident.

Another man who was also caught up in the terrifying 3am melee was taken to hospital for non life threatening stab injuries. "Our sincere condolences go out to his friends and family and anyone who knew him in Ballyogan." It comes as Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan said the violence which occurred was "disgusting" and "unacceptable".

"I also want to put out that carrying knives and acts of violence on the street are not acceptable in Ireland, nor will they ever be acceptable," he said.
