Very sad news emerging overnight as two confirmed dead after St Patrick's Day event at a hotel in Tyrone.

The incident took place at the Greenvale Hotel in Cookstown and emergency services were called to attend at around 9.30pm last night. Assistant chief constable Mark Hamilton said: “I can confirm there are two fatalities at this stage and a small number of other casualties. Parents are asked to collect children from Family and Friends reception at Glenavon Hotel.
