Gardaí investigating incidents in which pedestrian and motorcyclist were killed
Two people have died and a woman has been seriously injured following three separate traffic incidents in Co Westmeath, Co Kilkenny and Co Cavan.
The driver of the car received minor injuries and was also treated in hospital. The N4 was closed between J17 Mullingar West and Lough Owen, according to AA Roadwatch. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to St Luke’s General Hospital for a a postmortem.
