The incident in Ballyogan Park, Carrickmines on the south side suburbs of Dublin happened at 8pm on Sunday.

"It's understood that shortly after 8pm two males called to a house at Ballyogan Park and fired a number of shots at the windows of the house before leaving the scene on foot."A window at the front of the house was damaged.
