Seven people, including two police officers, were rushed to hospital following the serious crash near to J13 on the busy motorway in July.
At around 1.10pm on Wednesday, July 24, a Mercedes A45 collided with an unmarked Volvo S90 police car and a Mercedes CLS, which were on the hard shoulder of the eastbound carriageway near to J13 Provan.
A 48-year-old police officer and a 43-year-old man remain in a stable condition in hospital. Meanwhile, a 38-year-old police officer and a 31-year-old man were discharged following treatment. A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences. He has now been charged and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow, Thursday August 29.
