Two men charged in connection to the death of tragic Donegal teen Liam McGlinchey in New York

Liam McGlinchey, 19, who was from Buncrana, Co Donegal, died after a night out with friends while celebrating passing exams. He had suffered alcohol poisoning after being left outside his grandmother’s house in New York.They were arraigned in Saratoga County Court and remanded in custody pending a bail application. It’s expected their trial will begin in July.
Liam’s mother Helen Savastio, her husband Thomas McGlinchey and children Leo and Charlotte were “emotionally drained” after they were informed of the arrests.
