Mattie Donnelly delivered another tour de force for the Red Hands while Mark Curran, Jason McGee and Niall O'Donnell impressed for Donegal

Tyrone ratings Niall Morgan: Kicked three excellent long-range frees and made a smart save to deny Aaron Doherty before McCole’s equaliser. Assist for McShane’s score was stunning. 7

Seanie O’Donnell: Given the task of man-marking Ryan McHugh. O’Donnell was turned over twice in the first half, but did well on McHugh before the break. Found the going much tougher in the second half. 6.5 Conn Kilpatrick: Drafted in from the start and looked off the pace in the second half as Jason McGee got the better of the Edendork clubman. 6

Darren McCurry: A subdued performance from McCurry. Converted two frees, but was held scoreless from open play by the excellent Mark Curran. 6 Ruairi Canavan: Had a great chance in extra-time to draw Tyrone level, but was off target and he’ll hope to regain a starting berth in the All-Ireland series. 6Donegal ratings Gavin Mulreany: Got the nod to start when Shaun Patton failed a late fitness test. Acquitted himself well and only lost two kickouts. 6.5

Ryan McHugh: Tyrone paid him the ultimate compliment by putting a marker on him. Eventually won his battle with Seanie O’Donnell and, typically, emerged with the ball when Tyrone launched one last hail Mary into the square. 7 Michael Langan: Lost Brian Kennedy a few times in the first half but, like McGee, grew into the game. 6.5
