The EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier told AFP today that negotiations to break a deadlock are now between British Prime Minister Theresa May and members of her parliament. Mr Barnier said his teams had offered all they could, including a last-minute proposal that Britain could leave the bloc's customs union after the divorce.
