ICYMI: Valorant will finally add a Team Deathmatch mode next week valorant RiotGames
Just over three years after its launch Riot Games has finally added Team Deathmatch to Valorant. The 5v5 mode is set to full launch alongside Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 on June 27 which will include three new custom maps. So if you’re looking for something different or just want a game mode to help you warm up then this seems to be the mode for you.
Team Deathmatch is a pretty simple premise since it has been incorporated into nearly every first-person shooter since the inception of online multiplayer. In Valorant’s case, players will now be able to choose their loadout for different stages throughout the match both at the start of the match and whenever you’re in the spawn room. Across four stages with no econ and players respawning every 1.
However, Team Deathmatch isn’t the only thing making its way to Valorant on June 27. the Valorant in-game progression system is also set to receive an overhaul which will offer players new ways to earn rewards. The changes are as follows:: A new free in-game currency that can be used to unlock a number of accessories.: A new way to earn an agent that takes roughly the same amount of time to achieve as reaching level 5 in Agent Contract took in Valorant’s previous system.
It should be noted that if you’re working on any current Agent Contract Progress at the moment that any partial progress made toward your Agent Contract levels will go away post-transition to the new Agent Recruitment Event. Finally, the accessory store is set to update once a week come the launch of Team Deathmatch with the store offering an assortment of Player Cards, Gun Buddies, Sprays, and Titles from every previous Battle Pass, except for the three most recent Battle Passes.
