A vehicle fire on the M1 motorway near Dublin Airport is causing significant traffic delays this morning. Emergency services are at the scene, and the Junction 2 Airport off ramp is closed. Passengers traveling to Dublin Airport are advised to expect heavy traffic and follow diversions.

A warning has been issued to those travelling to Dublin Airport this morning as there are lengthy delays along the M1 due to a vehicle on fire on the motorway.

Images shared on social media show a travel coach engulfed in flames along the side of the motorway, with large plumes of smoke seen coming from the vehicle. Commuters have been urged to take extreme care on approach and drivers are advised to take a different route if possible.
