Vera Pauw's stint as the manager of Ireland's women's football team has unfortunately come to an end after four years.
The report dove into Vera’s single season as coach of the Houston Dash back in 2018. There were a number of bullying allegations made against her back then which she has vehemently denied.
Following the FAI’s decision CEO Johnathan Hill, thanked the manager for her hard work throughout her four year tenure with the Irish team.He said: “On behalf of the Football Association of Ireland, we would like to thank Vera for her hard work and commitment over the past four years and wish her well for the future.”
There’s been no details as to who will replace Vera but it’s been mentioned that the role will temporarily be filled by Eileen Gleeson, the Head of Women’s and Girl’s football, and assistant coach Tom Elms until a full time replacement can be found.
