Vernon Kay left his BBC Radio 2 co-star Scott Mills stunned after he made a surprise revelation about his marriage to Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly
Vernon Kay left everyone at BBC Radio 2 gobsmacked with a cheeky revelation about his marriage to Tess Daly . During Scott Mills ' morning show, where Britney Spears ' 'Stronger' was played, Vernon reminisced about the iconic moment he met his wife while on Top of the Pops@play.
Scott, taken aback, asked: "And for a moment, did you think that it was me instead of your wife? " To which Vernon responded: "Well, no, I think we talked about it. I think you teed it up. I think you set it up as 'why don't you and our new presenter Tess Daly, go and do this?'" reports Birmingham Live.
According to Express, Vernon and Tess first crossed paths in 2001 when they were both rising stars in the presenting world, with Vernon fronting Channel 4's T4 and Tess on ITV's SMTV. Despite being contenders on opposing networks, they soon fell for each other and tied the knot by September 2003.
