Voters 'could be turned-off 2023 local elections' because of new photo ID requirement
Voters who are younger, on lower-incomes or from minority backgrounds could be put-off taking part in next year’s local council elections because of government plans to require photographic identity at polling stations, Ribble Valley Council has heard.
