Darts' governing body PDC scrapped walk-on girls back in January 2018 due to sexism concerns but the World Senior Darts Tour is bringing them back for their Matchplay tournament
Walk-on girls will return to televised darts for the first time in six years for October's World Seniors Matchplay.
More than 3,000 people added their signature, with former world champion Raymond van Barneveld also adding his backing. Six years on, the walk-on girls will be returning on the World Seniors Darts Tour. After their return was announced, both Allfree and Wood expressed their delight at coming back to the sport. While they will have to wait for just over a month, the duo are excited to get back in the arena.
