Dublin Airport plans to carry out an emergency exercise for a number of hours to 'test the readiness of the airport and other agencies to deal with a major incident'.
Dublin Airport has issued a warning to flyers ahead of a major incident drill taking place this week.
Anyone using the airport between 11am and 1pm on Thursday, September 28 “should not be alarmed” if they see emergency vehicles in operation. Graeme McQueen, Media Relations Manager at daa, the operator of Dublin Airport, explained that the emergency exercise will test the responsiveness of all agencies in case of a future emergency at the airport.
