“I don’t have a concern about that,” coach Mike McCarthy said. “Actually we just had a leadership council meeting and talked about probably some of the things that you talked about in your discussions in the media. I believe in the principle of conflict is good because it brings resolve and resolution to the situation. And frankly talked about it with the team today and our leaders in the locker room, I think this is a healthy opportunity to grow.”.
“We also needed that loss,” defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence said. “It was something to learn from and make sure get back on the details. Like if we would have won that game we probably would have been on cloud nine like it’s the Super Bowl. It’s a humbling process that’s what the NFL is really all about. It’s like keeping you 10 toes down and making sure you be earning this s--- every day.
