Bad news for certain counties as storms and flooding en route
A status yellow weather warning has been put in place for six counties in Ireland as Met Eireann warns that thunder storms, flooding and hazardous conditions are on the way.
The thunderstorm warning is in place for counties Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Wicklow, and Tipperary.Read more: Ireland weather: Met Eireann forecasts highs of 20 degrees - but there's a catchThe weather warning is valid from noon on Monday, 08/05/2023, until 8pm on Monday.Although conditions have turned milder in recent weeks, there has also unfortunately been heavy rain and bouts of thunder.
