Cher won a Golden Globe for best original song for You Haven't Seen the Last of Me but Jackie Burns in the Cher role completely knocked it out the park. But Burlesque is really all about the moves, the songs and the attitude and this musical delivers all three by the sackload. Hall's performance is one theatre-goers will be talking about for decades. You can't help feeling sorry for those who will have to try to fill his shoes in the future.
