Tiktok is filled with parenting advice - but some of it is best left ignored
which if you are prone to anxiety can be as debilitating as they are informative .
TikTok is basically unwarranted advice from other parents IRL but on a much grander scale, and it’s in the palm of your hands 24 hours a day. I’ve come to the conclusion that, if you’re going to try and use TikTok as a parenting tool, just like in real life it’s important to find your “tribe” if you want to protect yourself from an information overload. Follow accounts that make you feel seen and supported, block the ones that don’t .
