The lead singer said he is turning his lifelong passion into a reality while the Irish band 'take a breather' after a busy year
Wild Youth star Conor O'Donohoe has revealed he is kicking off a new era in his career as a band manager after signing a new group at Eurovision.
"I obviously took part in the Eurovision with the band, and there was a band who were in the Eurovision also called Joker Out, and they have got massive traction since they took part, they went down a storm and I started helping them. However, he saw the potential to put his skills to even more use after watching German singer Elle Coves go from a student to an in-demand star thanks to his guidance over the years.
"Then I brought her into a studio in Dublin and she wrote one or two songs there, which were amazing demos, and then I approached her and I was like we could do something great here. After finishing her schooling first, Elle, 19, has gone on to become a budding star, who has already toured with the likes of superstars Lewis Capaldi and Cork native Cian Ducrot.
And despite his own huge successes, from performing at massive venues and stadiums in Ireland and abroad to representing Ireland at Eurovision, Conor said he has experienced a whole new high watching his acts grow. "No, Wild Youth is very much still a thing, I think after what has been a crazy year it is important to just take a little bit of a breather for a second to adjust to everything.
