Willie Mullins could attempt to land a big Cheltenham Festival bonus with a runner this weekend
Willie Mullins could attempt to land a £100,000 Cheltenham Festival bonus by having his first Imperial Cup runner in ten years at Sandown this weekend.
Batman Girac, who has yet to win a race from seven attempts for Mullins, has been entered in the Imperial Cup and is a best-priced 10/1 second favourite. He also has an entry in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham, for which he is 25/1 generally. The winner of Saturday's Handicap Hurdle will earn their connections a £100,000 bonus if they go on to land a race at next week's Festival.
